The clamp is made from high-grade stainless steel and can be sterilized using standard autoclave procedures without any degradation to its material or function. Proper sterilization is essential to maintain hygiene and prevent infections.
3. What are the main differences between Gomco clamp circumcision and Plastibell circumcision?
The Gomco clamp involves a metal device that compresses the foreskin for excision, allowing immediate removal with controlled pressure and minimal bleeding.
